This chapter is picturing the intense anti-God evolutionary philosophy that began to sweep the world after Darwin's publication of Origin of Species in 1859. Darwin (represented by Khur-ak in Chapter One) laid the groundwork for destroying belief in a God and subsequent followers over the years (represented by Acin-om in Chapter Three) continued to add to his work. Acin-om's detailed accounting of the real truth behind all the world's religions and dismantling of the mysteries of our origins represents the vigorous attack the scientists have made against religion since Darwin. In general, Acin-om's refutation of any belief in One Almighty God is analogous to how human scientists have hammered away with vigor at any belief in a Creator since Darwin's groundbreaking book. Of course, scientists in the real world discount any idea that their theory of evolution supports any notion of a God, even a highly evolved being that might appear supernatural, so Acin-om's explanations about religion represent what human scientists might have to come up with if they were intellectually honest. So I took some creative license here to make the story interesting. Perhaps I should write a book called Origin of God, which talks about the theory of religion. :) Now, before we proceed further, I need to try and explain something. From this point on in my commentaries, I'm going to start quoting more scriptures from the Bible to show that my idea that alien-gods are (and have been) assisting mankind's own evolution into "Godhood" is in the Bible, the holy book that I've been exposed to in my culture since birth. I do this only to show you that there is support in the Bible for my ideas, but I think there is support for my ideas in all the holy books of the world if you have a creative enough imagination to be able to interpret things in a deeper spiritual way. But you'll soon see I don't think like your typical Christian at all. All forms of religion are evil and psychotic when taken to extremes, including Christianity, although the founder had a heart of love and was willing to be crucified for what he believed. Down through the centuries there have been many willing to kill for their Christian beliefs, but few willing to die for it like their leader. There are many corrupt ideas that are common to all religions, primary one being that God is love, yet will torture the majority of His creation in a literal hellfire forever. Nothing could be further from the truth, but then how do you explain all those fire scriptures in just about all the holy books out there? Ah, good question. I'll answer that before we're done. For now, just trust me. There's a very simple, logical, and good reason why a very powerful and very wise Creator inspired these kinds of scriptures. Oh, oh, I've given myself away. :) Yes I do believe in a "God" (of sorts) but it will take the next 21 chapters to explain what I mean by that. I can guarantee you that my God is not at all like the ideas common to just about every religion out there. If I inspire anything, I hope it is a new religion based on one word only: love. I believe one day, centuries from now, mankind will be able to scientifically and objectively (through technological advancement) define/prove what is love/truth/good in every situation in life, so will have no need of laws, police, judges, or governments to enforce laws. Total personal freedom and the elimination of evil, voluntarily walking freely in the only law anyone needs, the law of love. Crime will be non-existent and poverty eliminated. Sound like nonsense? How is this possible? We will get into what I believe is going to happen over the next 1000 years and why I believe it. Until this new world arrives, the scriptures of our new religion will be logic, reason, and common sense, filtered through the lens of intuition/feelings/instincts that we all have about what is true. It's the best we can do for now. Our new religion will harmonize science fact with the general spiritual concepts common to all religions, but we will interpret all scriptures of all the holy books of the world through the lens of love and all spiritual concepts must make sense from the standpoint of love. Having done this, it should become obvious that we have all been wrong about a great many things for many thousands of years, but centuries from now I believe I will have been objectively/scientifically proven to be right about what I am about to show you. I'm a spiritual Galileo, a visionary that can see the earth revolves around the sun, even though the accepted society/religious norm says the earth is the center of the universe and the sun revolves around the earth. But I take no credit for my vision, as Bible says we are but clay in the hands of the potter (God) and He has made me this type of person. It took centuries for Galileo to be objectively/scientifically proven correct in his views, and similarly, it will take centuries for mankind to fully assimilate what I'm about to show you and for me to be proven correct. So be it. Let's get on with it. In future commentaries, although I'm going to start giving scriptures from the Bible to back up my points, remember that I'm not a Christian. :) At least I'm not one according to the definition of most so-called "Christians". This new religion I need your help to create is going to be called the religion of Spirit Evolution, and if you are a part of my club you can call yourself a Spirit Evolutionist. Spirit has to do with thought, as Jesus said these words I speak are "spirit and life" (John 6:63), and since you can't speak a thought without first thinking a thought, then spirit and thought are the same. Even though I'm quoting Jesus, don't think I'm a Christian! I belong to a faith offshoot of Christianity called Spirit Evolution. Ok, I'll stop saying that but don't forget it for future commentaries. :) I believe that the idea that spirit and thought are synonymous can be found in every holy book of the world, if the spirit of God opens your mind enough to perceive it. Everyone is going through a process of thought/consciousness/spirit evolution, growing, evolving, at the direction of a "God" (sort of, we'll get into that more later). This is simultaneously happening to everyone all over the world, whether we believe it or not, or whether we care or not. God has merely opened the eyes of my understanding a bit more than others so that I can explain to you what God is doing and why. I have much more to say in future commentaries and would love to give you the website page where you can find the rest. If you are interested in reading the rest for free on the internet, I'd just like to ask for some feedback at this point. Please e-mail me at dennis@theunveilingbook.com and let me know your impressions of what you've read so far and I'll happily supply you with a link to the entire book and commentaries. |
