Author's Bio:
Dennis Gilmour

Dennis Gilmour was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1991 with a B.Sc. in Pharmacy. He completed his first novel, The Unveiling, in 1995 but after unsuccessful attempts at getting it published, set it aside for several years and pursued other career interests. While working as a pharmacist with Shoppers Drug Mart, Dennis attended a computer training school. He graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1998 with a degree in computer programming. For the next three years, he worked as a programmer analyst at a high tech company called Zadall, which produced software solutions for the pharmacy sector. Along with hospitals, Zadall's customers included many big retail pharmacy chains such as Krogers and Eckerds in the United States, and Shoppers Drug Mart and The Real Canadian Superstore in Canada.

In the summer of 2001, Dennis moved to the world class ski resort of Whistler, British Columbia to resume a renewed interest in retail pharmacy, and to partake of the pleasures of winter sports fun in the premiere ski paradise of North America. He is fascinated with both science and the supernatural and infuses all of his writing with exploration of the ancient mysteries of life: Who are we? Where did we come from? What is the meaning of life? The Unveiling is one fictional account of the answers to these very questions. Dennis currently resides in North Edmonton Alberta and works for a supermarket and drugstore chain. He enjoys reading in his spare time and working on writing the next sci-fi bestseller.
